The BT-150H pneumatic artificial diamond (PCD) tool grinder is an equipment used for manufacturing and grinding PCD cutting tools, PCBN cutting tools, and single crystal cutting tools. Its feed axis is equipped with a pneumatic device, which can perform fast forward and fast backward to improve production efficiency. Flexible feed and constant pressure grinding ensure the quality of the tool edge. It can grind standard or non-standard cutting blades and milling cutters. 1、 Machine tool features:

1. Machine tool mechanical structure: The machine tool bed (base) is made of high-quality integral castings, and the main components weigh 1.6 tons, which can meet the requirements of grinding any superhard material.

2. Machine tool electric spindle: The grinding head adopts a high-precision variable frequency speed control electric spindle with a power of 3.0 kilowatts and a maximum speed of 4000 revolutions per minute. It is cooled by circulating water and has a spindle rotation accuracy of 0.002 millimeters for end jump and 0.003 millimeters for radial jump.

3. Pneumatic feed mechanism: The machine tool adopts the "constant pressure grinding" technology, which means that during the grinding process of the tool, the tool always bears a constant air pressure, so that the grinding process is balanced and stable, and the overall grinding efficiency is high.

4. Auxiliary work: The tool approaches the grinding wheel and returns to the loading position after grinding. These two actions are achieved through pneumatic feed devices, which can save up to 70% of auxiliary time.

5. Reciprocating servo swing of grinding head: The reciprocating swing of the grinding wheel is achieved by a servo motor, and the amplitude can be adjusted freely between 0 and 30 millimeters (the swing amplitude can be increased to 150 millimeters according to customer requirements), so that the grinding wheel is evenly consumed and self sharpened in a timely manner, ensuring grinding accuracy and roughness.

6. Online CCD measurement: using optical microscope zoom and CCD camera magnification technology, the magnification can be selected between 25-80 times. The engraved lines used for comparison are calibrated and remain unchanged as a reference, ensuring the accuracy of comparison and enabling the machine tool to accurately detect the tool tip arc.

7. Radial locking of grinding wheel shaft: The radial locking technology of grinding wheel shaft enables the two circular arc guide rails to interlock and brake, achieving seamless and smooth contact, greatly enhancing the rigidity of the equipment. The adjustment of the grinding wheel elevation angle (which determines the tool rake angle) does not change the position of the grinding wheel centerline, so there is no need to adjust the grinding wheel height for rough and fine grinding.

2、 Technological breakthrough point

1. Optimization of vertical axis: Integrating the slight adjustment of vertical axis lifting and lowering onto the fixture of the workbench greatly enhances the stability and rigidity of the equipment.

2. More stable feed: PCD is a hard and brittle material that cannot withstand impact forces (especially periodic ones), so our company's improved machine tool is designed with a "flexible feed" device with air pressure, which has a tool release function when the tool edge is subjected to impact forces, effectively improving the roughness of the edge.

3. Our company uses a large screen to display tool images, located directly in front of the operating station. There is no need to frequently turn or lift the head, as long as the eyes are raised, it can cooperate and improve production efficiency by about 50%.
